Class IV laser therapy, also known as photobiomodulation therapy is a type of laser treatment that utilizes high-powered "cold" lasers to penetrate deep into tissues, stimulating the body's natural healing process to reduce pain, inflammation, and improve tissue repair, often used for musculoskeletal injuries due to its ability to target deeper tissues compared to lower class lasers; it is considered a non-invasive and drug-free treatment option.
