Health Certificates

If you plan to travel or relocate, your pet may require a health certificate to accompany you. Our USDA accredited veterinarians can assist with the issuance of health certificates for a variety of species for both domestic and international travel. Domestic health certificates for flights within the lower 48 states are generally required within 7-10 days of your planned travel date, but it is important to check with your airline directly for their requirements.

The process to travel outside the continental U.S. can take several months depending on your pet's species and your destination. We urge pet owners to start their research as soon as possible to ensure the often strict vaccination and test requirements can be satisfied in time for travel. Please visit the USDA APHIS Pet Travel website for details.
