Exotics Medicine

We understand that family pets come in many shapes and sizes.. and not all of them are dog and cat shaped! At Midway, we have extensive experience caring for a vast array of exotic pets and understand their unique needs.

Many exotic pets are considered prey species and as a result, they often mask signs of illness or injury as a survival instinct. While beneficial in the wild, this can make  detection of problems a significant challenge. Regular check ups, proper husbandry and appropriate diet go a long way, but seeking prompt medical attention if your pet's behavior or appearance changes is crucial.
