Dr. Nicholas Moore attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia to earn a Bachelor in Animal Sciences. During these four years, Dr. Moore spent his summers at home in Virginia Beach. He worked as a veterinary assistant at a small and exotic animal practice, where he first met Dr. Poutous and Dr. Starke. He soon realized his passion for all companion animals, not just cats and dogs. He made it his goal to work at a veterinary practice that saw exotic animals.

Following his graduation at Virginia Tech, Dr. Moore stayed in Blacksburg for another 4 years to earn his doctorate from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. He moved back to Virginia Beach to begin practicing, and began his career as a veterinarian at Midway, working alongside Dr. Poutous and Dr. Starke. He enjoys surgery, pathology, and internal medicine. He currently owns an elderly cat named Zelda, who was a present for his 7th birthday. His hobbies include outdoor sports, traveling, cooking, playing the clarinet, and video games.
